Blaker Business Coaching specializes in business coaching by supporting leaders. We guide leaders through a demanding process of assessment, exploration, action planning and execution. A coaching program can be structured in a variety of ways, which may include some or all of the following:
- A two-hour meeting between the leader and coach to set expectations, agree to coaching parameters, review assessments, if appropriate, 360 and other feedback, and begin to create a leadership development plan,
- A series of assessments may include an EQ report (TTI Emotional Quotient), 360/ report (TTI 360/OD Survey), Behaviors/Motivators (TTI Behaviors-Motivators) and a suite of interviews with managers, colleagues and team members (usually conducted by the leadership coach),
- A bi-monthly, one-hour coach session that addresses progress made (or not) since the previous session, identify ways to incorporate additional leadership practices into the leader’s day-to-day interactions with others, and commitments for the ensuing 2 weeks, and at the end of the engagement, a designed discussion to help the leader sustain the behavior changes made through the course of the coaching process.
During the coaching program, leaders are encouraged to create practical action plans and to seek out, between each session, opportunities to experiment with and make habits of new, advanced leadership practices.
